Reference : Extremely Rare !!,Special order only, was list $1250 back in mid 80’s.now rehoused by S.K. Grimes,cover 6x12cm,deep blue coating,The Magnar II is a curious optic. It was designed specifically to enlarge 5x5 aero recon film into 10x10 aero recon film with as much resolution as possible. It's best aperture is f8,make the print any better than the APO NIkkor, EL Nikkor or Red Dot Artar or Componon S that was used in it's place. The edges of the film grain was extremely well defined with the Magnar II compared to the other optics..
Glass Description : very very faint front cleaning marks,faint rear cleaning marks,no haze,aperture hole increase to f3.8 now
