Reference : Very Rare !!,Docter Optic was originally a small West-German company founded in 1985 by Bernhard Docter,bought some of the plants of the former Carl Zeiss Jena combine in 1991,From 1991 to 1995, Docter Optics continued the GDR Carl Zeiss Jena (CZJ) lines of large format optics (Tessar, Apo-Germinar) under the Docter name, after Bernhard Docter died and the Docter group went bankrupt in 1995,developed (in the GDR) to represent the state of the art without regard for the cost involved, and were quite difficult to manufacture. The optimum aperture for the Apo-Germinar W is f16 & multicoated,Symmetric wide angle process lenses, with 63 angle degree,8 lenses in 8 groups,multi-coated,368mm image circle on 1:1,184mm at infinity, cover 5x7in.
